Are Dermal Fillers safe?

Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane®, JUVEDERM ULTRA and Emervel are the most commonly used fillers today. Dermal fillers are composed primarily from hyaluronic acid which is naturally found throughout the human body. Further benefits of dermal fillers, is that they promote hydration of the skin as well as serves to restore volume to the skin and its underlying foundations naturally. This gives these fillers a longevity of at least 6 to 18 months. The dermal filler is not produced from any form of animal tissue and no form of testing is required prior to the injection treatment.

 

How do Dermal Fillers work?

The hyaluronic acid gel is injected into the troubled layers under the skin. Results are instantaneous and there is no prior skin test required. An added benefit is that the popular Juvederm filler includes a local anaesthetic for a comfortable, pain-free injection experience!

What is the Cost?

Fillers are sold per syringe containing a fixed amount of product. You will need to discuss with the practitioner how many syringes are required. This can vary and depends on the filler type area being treated. Prices start from £150.

Nu-Derm® works at the cellular level in renewing skin, improving skin function, strengthening skin, and maintaining skin's youth and vitality.
